REEDS Associates Receive Expert Training

REEDS Jewelers is committed to attracting and developing a highly talented retail jewelry team. We achieve this through multifaceted training opportunities combined to create REEDS University, a program designed to provide training and development to both the new and seasoned associate. New associates receive structured in-store training focused on asset protection, product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.

In-store training continues on a daily basis with seasoned associates or experts in a particular area acting as coaches for other associates. After successful completion of the basic in-store training initiative, each associate is offered the opportunity to become a Certified Diamontologist by studying and completing a Diamond distance-learning course created by the Diamond Council of America.

The Diamond course is required for all associates in management positions, but many sales associates also take advantage of this opportunity to increase their product knowledge, professionalism, and customer service.

As part of our ongoing commitment to associate development, REEDS University also offers a 3-day Advance Selling Skills class for sales associates, an enhanced curriculum for Store Managers that focuses on management communication, motivation, and selling skills, and Company-wide training initiatives chosen for their relevance and impact on associates and customers.

For associates who wish to take their education even further, REEDS Jewelers also offers tuition reimbursement for job and industry related certifications.
